About Tet Wada
At the age of 18, Tet moved to the USA to study for his degree in International Business at Baruch College of City University of New York. After graduation he joined the International Marketing Division of Donna Karan New York headquarters.

Upon garnering the attention of the industry in the wake of a brand leather advertisement as a house model, he was convinced to pursue a career in fashion. He was then discovered by the world-leading agency Q Models Management New York as their first Japanese male model and began working with photographers known worldwide, such as Michael Thompson, Terry Richardson, Marcus Klinko, Greg Lotus, and Ben Watts.

He appeared in a number of high fashion magazines, such as VOGUE, GQ, GLAMOUR, FLAIR and V, and also worked as a campaign model for many global brands, such as SONY, HP, SUBARU, MOTOROLA, SK-II, L’OREAL, BACARDI and KOOL.

In particular, the kiss shot with Canadian supermodel Daria Werbowy in VOGUE PARIS (photographer: Terry Richardson) was recognized as the first time a Japanese model appeared in the magazine, and this opportunity led to the breakthrough of his subsequent career in the fashion industry.

Tet further broadened his career by taking transitional steps into acting and began to work with independent films in New York. During his temporary return to Japan in 2008, he appeared on in the TBS TV series "Bloody Monday".

Since transferring his home base to Asia in 2012, he has been active as an actor in the Asian region, including Japan.
